Hardly anyone knows more about this fact than our company Graf Verpackungen GmbH<\/strong>because we have been researching and working on the production and further development of wrapping papers for over 30 years now. And this with great success!<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout Germany, bakeries, butchers, restaurant chains and food markets such as Edeka, Netto, Marktkauf, Globus as well as the delicatessen temples Dallmayr and the traditional butcher Vinzenz Murr rely on our extra-fine and high-quality wrapping papers.<\/span><\/p>\n

We do not view \u2018preserving freshness to the highest standard\u2019 as a routine task, but rather as a challenge and a science in its own right, as it does not depend solely on the quality of the paper used.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our films comply with the applicable food safety regulations. Furthermore, the way they adhere to the paper also plays an important role.<\/span><\/s> In doing so, we also take into account aspects relating to the use of materials and resources.<\/strong><\/o:p><\/span><\/s><\/p>\n

Our company founder Klaus Graf (\u2020 2020) acquired his technical knowledge at Vereinigte Papierwarenfabriken and at the beginning of his entrepreneurial career was not above \"canvassing\" textile markets and fruit shops for orders for paper bags.<\/span>
Early on, Klaus Graf had the great vision and also the inventive spirit to produce special wrapping paper for food. The food market demanded a rethink: \"Away from parchment and waxed paper!\", and so the market was open to the successful company founder with his ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The starting signal for Graf Verpackungen GmbH<\/strong> Graf Verpackungen GmbH was given in 1994 in the small Middle Franconian village of D\u00fcrrwangen, where Klaus Graf began the production of his wrapping papers with a handful of employees and only one machine and a lot of commitment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our current CEO and \"woman of the first hour\", Mrs Gudrun Adelhof, remembers: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"At that time, trucks did not yet come and unload rolls of paper weighing tons! The boss still drove personally to Saarland to buy paper!\"<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

After moving to the Dinkelsb\u00fchl\/Sinbronn industrial estate, our company now processes around 7,000 tonnes of paper\/year. A semi-trailer load leaves the depot every day. And in the meantime, Graf's products are appreciated all over Europe, in the USA and Israel! The strengths of our small high-performance factory were and are our speed, reliability, high quality and technological progress!<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, many of the producing machines of Graf Verpackungen GmbH<\/strong> Graf Verpackungen GmbH have been developed in-house and\/or have been modified internally so that these machines meet our quality standard as well as our technical requirements! Nowadays, the joining of paper and foil as well as the printing are done in one step and our special gluing technique is the key to the freshness effect. This special gluing technique is still unique and our patented viewing windows<\/strong> der Einwickelpapiere bieten dem Verbraucher zus\u00e4tzlichen Nutzen. <\/span>Graf\u2019sche Einwickelpapiere unterst\u00fctzen Produktschutz und Frischeerhalt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, we also produce wrapping papers that are as light as a feather. This means that food shops can look forward to official weight inspections with confidence, and the packaging itself makes the food look particularly appetising to consumers. The extra-thin, supple paper feels very smooth to the touch and is used to wrap fast-food treats such as \u2018burgers\u2019 or \u2018chicken\u2019 as they are served over the counter.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also see ourselves as a kind of special printer.<\/em>We can print our food papers with the accuracy of a fraction of a millimetre in all conceivable colour shades with food-safe water-based inks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our company does everything in its power to meet the highest standards, in addition to complying with strict legal requirements. We are proud to have held the \u2018FSC\u00ae\u2019 certificate continuously for many years. This requires comprehensive documentation, traceability and strict production criteria. In the manufacturing process, we avoid the use of certain groups of substances, such as nanoparticles (e.g. minute plastic particles), as well as substances suspected of triggering allergies and mineral oil residues. Regular testing and certification support our quality and safety requirements. Food-grade machine oils and greases round off the protection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many of our employees have learned the profession of packaging technologist or media technologist\/print. Creativity, conscientiousness, sensitivity and understanding of colour are prerequisites and a matter of course for our employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meeting high quality and safety standards in our production process and for our wrapping papers is part of our day-to-day responsibility.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
